I love it, too. My personal preference for nickname would be Hettie, but I do love Etta, too. We've got this one our our long list, but probably wont use it.
My only reservation: Harry is a nn for Henry. Although I doubt middle schoolers would pick up on that, I'd be a little nervous that my Henrietta would be picked on for being "hairy"
LOVE Henrietta. We had a doctor when DS was in the NICU, her FN is Henrietta, but she goes by Dr. Hank. Of course, since that's DS' name, I'm biased. Not that I am suggesting Hank as a NN for Henrietta...

Exactly this for me too.
Ditto (it was my grandmother's MN, and we've already discussed the possibility of using it as a MN for a future DD)
I've also come across Hetta as a NN for it.
