IVF ET question

Were you prescribed Valium or something else similar for your ET?

TTC since 2008
One blocked Tube
Ectopic pregnancy November 2008
M/C at 6 weeks in January 2010
M/C at 8 weeks (blighted ovum) May 2010

3 IUIs with Gonal-f, Sept, Oct, November 2010 = BFN
IVF#1 1/2011 - 32 eggs retrieved, 26 fertilized, 2 trans. = BFN
Time to regroup and heal and FET at some point

    For IVF 1 & 2 I was prescribed Xanax for the ER but nothing for the ET. For my FET and this cycle (both with a new RE) I will be prescribed valium for both the ER & ET.

    Edit: Obviously didnt have an ER for the FET.... long day.

    For my IVF I was prescribed Xanex for ER, and Valium for ET. I really didn't notice an affect though???

    Tramadol from my ER. I didn't have to take it though, either time.
    Married 08.06
    Started TTC 05.08
    Me: Stage II endo, borderline high FSH
    DH: perfect
    1 lap, 5 IUIs = 4 BFNs and 1 c/p
    2 IVFs, 2 FETs = 1 BFN, 1 c/p, 1 ectopic and finally a sticky BFP in May 2011!

    I wasn't prescribed anything for the ET. Honestly, it was as easy as getting a PAP.

    Yes, one valium for ET.  I had to bring it with me to the clinic and take it after we signed a form about how many embies to transfer.  I don't think it took effect for me until several hours later  :-/

    None for both. The ER is easy, even though I thought I would have anxiety due to the anesthesia etc. But the ET is really easy and I'm glad I had my wits : ) Wanted to remember the whole thing.

    Yes. Im suppose to take it 30mins before ET to relax my uterus from cramping.
