Met with my RE today - I was late to the appt and freaking out that they would tell me they has to reschedule it! I got a late start from work and then was stuck when a school let out, I got behind a bus which stopped like 5 times and then when I was going up the road to get to the highway, a truck or trailer was turned over or stuck blocking the lane. All the cars were turning around and so I had to also and go another way to get to the highway. Then I drove like 85 mph to get there - I was a wreck!!
Anyway, it was a good appt. The only wierd thing was, she was showing me a calendar and telling me I could pick when I wanted to start, I guess she didn't realize I wanted to start asap or that I already my beginning appt's scheduled, but it she was fine with it when I told her.
I will be doing the long lupron protocol, no BCP's b/c of my clotting issues and although intially she said starting on CD 21, since I don't have 28 day cycles, I am going to use OPK's and when I get a + I will let them know and I will just start lupron 5-7 days later.
So it looks like my ER will either be the week of Feb 14th or 21st - depending on how quickly I actually O. They like to start stims on Fridays, so most likely either 2/4 or 2/11 and then I will go the next week for monitoring Mon, Wed, Fri and possibly over the weekend as well.
I asked about 3 or 5 dt and she said it will depend on how things are looking, if they are really good they will prob do a 5 day, if they are not exactly where they want them, they will do a 3dt. She said if I have a 5 dt, she would most likely transfer 2 and if it's a 3 dt then 2-3, depending. We will use assisted hatching with the 3 day, but not with 5. Not sure about ICSI yet, it will depend on DH's SA.
Most likely I'll be using Gonal F and Menopur to stim. After talking to the RE about stims and whether or when to start lovenox, she said she thinks it would be good to start it when I stim so we can be sure there are no lining issues (clots). The only thing she wants to know from my hemo is a plan for dealing with the ER. So I have to call about that.
She said she didn't forsee me having any issues making too many or not enough follies. She said I was a very "average" responder to injects and that was actually a good thing. They will freeze any additional embies if they make it to day 5. I think that is pretty much eveything!! Whew!! It's a lot to take in!!!
Re: IVF update
I'm sorry you had to be in such a frenzy to get to your appt. Murphy's law that whenever you have to be somewhere at a certain time that everything will happen to delay you. I hate that!
Glad to hear it was a good appt. Good Luck!

Sounds great, hon! I am excited for you!
Let me know what your hemo thinks about Lovenox prior to ER. With IVF #2, I was on Lovenox from the start of stims until the day of trigger and then started up again the day after ER. I wasn't on Lovenox until after ER with IVF #1. I had a lot more bleeding with IVF #2. They didn't put a pad on the bed before I was transferred back for recovery. When I woke up, I realized I bled all over the sheets. Kind of gross, but I guess not a big deal.
I hope everything goes smoothly for you! Best of luck!!

Thanks for the info. I will definately let you know what my hemo says. I think if it was just the factor v the RE would probably be good with me starting after ER, or even after BFP. But, with the beta 2 glycoprotein 1 antibodies, I have read a few places that it *could* cause blood clots to develop in the lining , so I think she would rather remove those possibilities.
The excessive bleeding you mentioned scares me, I hope that doesn't happen. I guess I'll have to see.
