Fertility Report (I pounced on the phone when it rang)

Yesterday I had my 1st ER & wrote a long-winded post all about it.  To those who read it & commented & wished me luck: I appreciate it, gals! :)

So, here goes: 22 eggs retrieved, 21 injected (ICSI), 16 fertilized. :)

I'm really excited. I'm 40 & was not expecting these numbers!  They'll call tomorrow to tell us whether ET will be Fri or Sun.

Now for the downside of all of that "activity".  I'm nauseous today whenever I stand up, & the nurse is concerned that I may be developing OHSS.  I'm on a med that is an OHSS preventative, but it ain't-a-workin'.  My ovaries are wondering just what in sam hill I thought I was doing to them.  If it doesn't improve by tonight, I'm going in tomorrow am for U/S...

    Wow, those numbers are great!  Congratulations on the response!

    Hopefully, it's just nausea and does not develop into OHSS.

    Wow, 16 is fantastic !! I'm sorry you are not feeling well, though Sad  Did you have to work today? Hopefully you can get pletny of rest and not get OHSS.

    Married '02, TTC May '05

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

    Thanks.  Fortunately, I don't have work today, so I'm in bed with a dog at my feet, cat on my legs, & laptop. :)

    How many days before you do your preg test?  My dr said 10 days after ET.

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.
