on the radio this morning they had internet creepers call in. i didn't get to hear much-- and some of it was just lame, like how this guy did some fb stalking and found out his 21 year old boyfriend was actually 17-- but there was this one girl who called in who was very proud of the fact that she was a psycho internet creeper. her and her friends made up a very elaborate fb page. they randomly picked some girl's photos on the internet and created a fake profile. they made the profile seem as legit as possible-- got a bunch of friends for "her", was real elaborate with the likes and stuff. anyway, they used this profile for two main purposes-- 1, to stalk their ex-boyfriends, and 2, to stalk their ex boyfriends' new girlfriends. they would find out as much info as possible about these new girlfriends and then go back and "flirt" with their ex's and use the info they found out about the new gf's to try to break them up. creepy creepy creepy.
it's just... you KNOW that shiit is out there... but these people are proud of it. they see no shame in it whatsoever.
beware the creepers!
Re: haha-- internet creepers on the radio today
That's insane! I was just saying to DH that I'm glad I don't have to date during this period of the internet age.
uhhhh.... yeah

This reminds me that I was once an internet creeper...oops!
My old roomate broke up with her BF. He started writing crazy stuff about her on his myspace blog (this was like 7 years ago). You had to be his friend to be able to read his blog, but he unfriended us both. So we created a fake profie with his favorite pop culture character. We friended a bunch of other randoms with the profile to make it look legit, then friended him so we could read the blog.
I've never told anyone this story, including DH, even though old roomie and I still have an inside joke about it. I just read the story back to myself and I sound like a complete freak!!! LOL... I'm an AWFUL person!!
totally different. he was writing crazy stuff about your friend and the only way to see it was through a fake profile. definitely falls within the rules of post-breakup warfare.
Thank you
I've been feeling guilty about this all these years!
