Prenatal Suggestion..Heaven in a little pill =)

Good Morning Ladies!

The below post about vitamins made me want to post this. I have struggled with finding the right prenatal for the last 17 months. I think I have tried every kind out there. Some made my stomach hurt and others made me want to throw up. Everything made it hard to poop and when I did poop it hurt like hell!!!

Finally my RE prescribed a gelcap prenatal with DHA and a stool softner. It is the BEST!!! I have been taking it for 2 weeks and I am in love with it. My RE was telling me alot of women dont know you can get a prenatal with a stool softner in it. Also the gel cap is easy on the stomach.

If you are having problems finding the right vitamin I would call your RE and ask about these types of vitamins. I guess there are a few of them out there that have the softner and are gelcaps.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Do they have a reasonable copay?  I found a prenatal that I loved, but the copay on it was $40/month.  I switched to a cheaper one.  Also, I started taking them before bed so I don't notice if they give me any problems.

Hey! I guess it depends on your insurance. It was $70 before insurance and $5 after. I know Blue Cross Blue Shield covers it.
