Difference between D&C and Mini D&C?

Hello all - first let me say I'm thrilled this group is here and so supportive during our most difficult times. I naturally m/c on Dec 17 and I'll be having an ultrasound later this week to confirm whether I require a mini D&C as I'm still bleeding.

I've done some online research and I think I know the difference between the two, but I'd like to hear real stories from anyone here who has experienced a mini D&C and let me know what I might expect during and after?
