I hate croup :(

Croup has hit our house and we got no sleep last night   Not looking forward to the next few nights of no sleep, but hopefully Mattea will be better soon.  Any tips from those who have had croup?

Yuck! Our 8  month old had it last week.  The first 2 nights were the worst, but he would take good naps during the day.   We spent lots of time sitting on our bathroom floor with the steam going, seemed to help him get a good stretch of sleep.

On a side note, I had the same due date last year.

My 15 month old had/has it.  He seemed to get the most relief by getting outside so we took a lot of short walks and then back in and alternated that with time in a steamy bathroom.  His coughing got terribly wheezy so we ended up needing to go in for the oral steroids which helped a ton.  He got something bacterial after the worst of the croup though so it's been a miserable week in our house.

Humidifier and lots of showers.  Get outside at least once a day.
