How old is too old to get your nose pierced?

I have wanted to get my nose pierced for many years. The urge right now is really strong, like a piss or get off the pot moment. DH and my sister think I am too old for it now. Is 33 too old?

I have to say that I have the desire to get mine pierced as well, but doubt I will.  I'm 28 .

I vote too old at 33.  I had mine pierced when I was 20.  I loved it.  I still think nose piercings are cute but I'm 31 now and wouldn't consider it.

I say do whatever makes you happy. If it's your style, do it and don't be ashamed. Who cares what anyone else thinks? I just want to see a pic when you get it!

I got mine pierced at 20, and still have it in. It really depends on your style, what you do, etc. Do what you want. If it looks ridiculous, take it out. Mine's just a tiny diamond, not too noticeable.

As someone who, at 36, just got her belly button re-pierced this weekend, I say if you want it, do it!

 

My DH hates nose piercings, or else I would get one.

Do it. I did a couple years ago when dd was a baby and loved it. I had to take it out because I had a reaction to the metal and it closed up- can't even see where it was. I'm probably going to get it redone very soon- probably within a matter of days! Almost did it last week but I chickened out at the last moment (I won't lie- it hurt and I'm a wuss. The pain only lasted about 10 seconds though.)

I plan to get my belly button pierced again after this pregnancy. I loved it so I say go for whatever makes you happy. You could always take it out. That said, I don't see many people my age with their nose pierced.

This.   I want my lip pierced, but, I don't think my job would go for it.    The BF's parents would probably drop over, too.  

Then again, I had lots of piercings in college.

It's not my personal style but I think you should go for it. I like tiny studs like Cleo's. What's the worst that can happen? if you don't like it you can always take it out.

I say get it done! Like others said, if you don't like it then take it out. If you never get it pierced, that is just one thing you may wish you would have tried. I do think it looks trashy on some people, but I know a 50+ year old and it looks great on her! I also have mine done and don't plan on taking it out yet. I am 24.

Just do it.

I still wear my nose ring at 35, but I pierced it at 16.  I doubt I'll ever stop wearing it, but I wouldn't do it now if I didn't already have it done.  It just seems like trying too hard.
