Newborn heavy wetter/ some ?'s

What do you use on your heavy wetter? Dd soaks Kissaluvs so fast. I have a few BG xs's that work well, but I don't want to buy more of them since she'll be able to be in the one size BG pretty soon. I also have prefolds, which I'm trying today. Do you put fleece liners in your Kissaluvs and prefolds? Older dd wasn't this heavy of a wetter this young, so I didn't have a problem. TIA.

I use mostly pockets, but when I use my Kissaluvs, I put a microfleece insert between the Kissaluv and the cover for extra absorbency.  Also, since it's not "stay-dry" against his skin, I change the Kissaluvs more often (every 1.5 hours).

Yikes!  I have just started to question the absorbancy of my NB stash and LO is 10 weeks today.  We have been using KL0's and prefolds with a fleece liner for a stay dry feel.  The fleece won't increase absorbancy though.  I do love our BG xs for the stay dry feel but just started having a few leaks this week.  I can't decide if she has exceded the absorbancy or if the rise is getting a little low.  We've moved up to the Smalls now without a problem.  LO weighed 9lbs. 11 oz a few days ago.  We're testing out her OS BGs to prepare for DC.  I'm trying to decide whether to buy some more Sm BG's as they're clearing them out at $10.  Would your LO fit into the sz small BG?  They have a pocket to add absorbency and this might be an option for the in between stage.  Otherise you might look into some hemp doublers as well.

Our LO is a heavy wetter too.  I haven't been able to make it out of the house to pick up fleece to put liners in. (we use primarily prefolds and covers and he's completely soaking them and we change him about every hour or so during the day).  Poor guy gets no sleep since each diaper change wakes him up more. I'm waiting for some hemp doublers to arrive in the mail in the next day or two, hoping that will up the absorbancy.  Just recently started putting him in our BG 4.0s and FB OS at night in the hopes he'll have longer stretches of sleep at night, but they leak occasionally.  Hoping he'll fill out soon to fit better into the pockets (he was 8lbs last week).
