Did you use a doula with Dr. Williams? I'm just about to start interviewing the recommendations that she gave me and wondered if you had used any of them. Also, she always talks to me about how you know EVERYONE. LOL!!!

Honestly, I never realized I knew as many people as I do until I started working with Dr. Williams.  Don't worry, no private patient information is exchanged.  It's very strange though.     

Stacey at Mother Tree was our labor doula.  She and Dr. Williams worked amazingly well together.  They tried for 45 minutes to move me into crazy positions that would get Rowan to turn.  Even Stacey said she had never had a doctor respect her and involve her as much as Dr. Williams did.  Stacey did a great job motivating me when things got more intense, and she was really good at relaying our wishes to the nurses and other doctors so we didn't have to.  Twin pregnancies are usually treated as high risk and we used Hypnobirth, so sometimes the hospital needed to be reminded of our non-status quo wishes. 

And, my other random labor suggestion is to check out the labor clothes at: www.birthinbinsi.com .  It was so awesome to wear that skirt and top and never get in a hospital gown.

I totally don't mind that you mentioned it to Dr. Williams. In fact, she had also heard from our RE as well AND i posted it all over the nest and my blog so it isn't like it was a secret or anything. I would have shouted it off the rooftops if I had my way I know she would never share any patient info, she's wonderful. Thank YOU for recommending her to me!
