Daycare Question

Does anyone have an opinion on Kinderberry Hill Child Development Centers?  I'm starting to do a little daycare research, and I thought I would put my feelers out!!

    Overall, Kinderberry Hill is a great chain with a philosophy that I generally agree with.  But, as with any center, it all depends on the staff at that particular location.

    Also, Kinderberry Hill is REALLY expensive.  New Horizon Academy is owned by the same people as Kinderberry Hill and is a more affordable option.

    KH offers some things that NHA doesn't, such as lower ratios at some ages (for example, the toddler ratio at KH is 1:6 and NHA is 1:7) and private kindergarten. 

    For infants though (which I am guessing you are looking for?) I don't think that there is a huge difference between KH and NHA. (just my personal opinion though)

    I have a friend that sends their LO to Kinderberry Hill. It is very nice, has a full time nurse on staff but like PP said it is VERY spendy. In fact, it was the most expensive daycare I found in my area. I was also impressed with Primrose (although they had no openings for infants when I needed one) and ended up at a smaller, locally owned chain.

    Thanks for the help!  I actually contacted both Primrose and the Goddard School in Eden Prairie...and I have to admit, I am shocked at the price of both centers!  Yikes!  If anyone has experience with a more affordable daycare, please share.

    LOL, pretty much any daycare is going to be a "more affordable" option than those.

    DH and I just searched for daycares in Eden Prairie and found most of them to be very expensive. We didn't even attempt to visit primrose or Kinderberry because of their high costs. We found a smaller center at a great price and we are very happy with our decision. You will find the right one.
