Scar Tissue...

I had my first ultra sound today. We checked for ovaries, eggs, healthy lining wall, etc. Just to see if everything looks healthy.

Doc said everything looks good, accept there looks to be a bit of scar tissue next to my intestines. Has anyone ever had this? or know the causes?

I have a HSG Jan 5th to check my tubes

I had some in my uterus.  I had my HSG to make sure they were clear and then a  Hysteroscopy to remove the scar tissue that was acting as a septum.  Is he going to remove it?  It really wasnt that bad.  If you are considering a lap i would like to suggest doing that at the same time.  I didnt do that and I wish now that I did.

He didn't mention anything on removal yet. Do you know the cause of yours?

What is a lap? Where your tubes clear of scar tissue? He said my ovaries and eggs are healthy and I am ovulating normally. 

I go in for my HSG tomorrow

Were they able to get rid of the scar tissue? I wonder if this is causing my infertility even if its attached to my intestines.

Hi.  I had scar tissue found and removed during a laparoscopy.  However, it did not show up on any of the ultrasounds I had done prior to my lap.  Mine was caused by endo.

I don't think scar tissue itself causes infertility unless it is in the uterus, attached to the uterus so that it can't move like it is supposed to, blocking the tubes or causing problems with your ovaries.  However, it could be an indication of endo and endo's number 1 symptom is IF.  Sorry you are going through this.  But, it might be worth it to ask your doctor more about the scar tissue.  I assume there could be other causes, I just don't know what they are.
