TMI: Weird Smell Down There?

Have you noticed a different odor from your lady bits? I've noticed it since early in first tri, but it's getting worse now. Smells earthy... or maybe like raw meat?

Is this amniotic fluid? I know it starts to leak more as we go.

    I have heard that amniotic fluid smells like "hamburger".  So perhaps that is what you are smelling.

    I thought amniotic fluid smelled sweet?  I feel like my underwear has a stronger smell sometimes but I think it's pee...smells kinda like amnonia?

    I guess it could be urine... it is slightly yellow in color. But it's definately watery and not mucousy.

    I had a doctor's appointment today, and specifically asked what amniotic fluid smelled like. I've been having significantly more discharge lately that smells sweet. The Dr. said that it does smell sweet, but it will literally be water. So long as it doesn't run down your leg or drip, it's nothing to worry about. If it causes itching or irritation, it may be an infection.

    How funny I've been wanting someone to ask this!!! I've had that "smell" since first tri Confused I've had a urine test cause I thought maybe it was an infection but I'm good to go. Think it's just all that extra discharge...maybe I'll ask my doc.

    that's what i thought when i saw it, I have LOTS AND LOTS of discharge and it always kinda does smell funny but it doesnt smell like hamburger... perhaps each person has their own smell....

    No mine doesn't either, I think mine smells a little sweeter like sugar smacks Indifferent

    Kinda ruined me on that cerel, I should go ask DH "Hey can you smell my vagina and tell me what does it smell like"
