I don't really have any advice. The taggies I made are only 9 inches. They are more toys than blankets. I will pip later but my camera is being stupid...
I've made several taggies, and I am not very good at them yet. I cut 11x11 squares and use 5 inch ribbons...here is Carson's. I used flannel for one side and the minky dot fabric for the other. It turned into his lovie, which is nice because it's the perfect size for in the carseat, stroller, etc, and he doesn't trip on it when he carries it around : )
Ooh Becky, so cute! I'm making a flannel/minky lovey now (debating whether to turn it into a taggie) but I sort of freaked because the tutorials I found online all called for using batting in the middle, and I have no idea where to get that here.
