Charlie's Soap

I heard this was great for laundering cloth diapers so I bought a jar of the powdered version from Amazon. Does anyone else use this? Are you pleased with it? How much do you put in each load??

I wanted to love Charlie's. However, I didn't even get  through a  whole bag of it. I used probably twice what the bag recommends  (I don't remember how much that was) after using the normal amount was absolutely not cleaning my microfiber inserts at all. They stunk even after washing. It was ridiculous. I tried everything to combat the stink. Overnight soaks, hotter water, stripping, using less soap, using more soap, etc. In the end, all it  took was switching to RNG and no more stink.

Yikes! Thanks for giving the other side of it- I'll keep an open mind when I give it a whirl. I've bought bum genius elementals that are 100% cotton on the inside- not sure if that will make a difference for me or not.

i've used it. it worked for me. then i tried rockin green and right now i have stinky diapers. i think i will try charlies again.
