Have any one thought about birthing centers to give birth? If so what are some of your thoughts that you emphasis to make your descision?

St lukes roosevelt has a birthing center located within the hospital - i delivered in the hospital - but seems to me like it's the best of both worlds - a totally natural birth center experirnce, but if something (G-d forbid) goes wrong, boom, you're at the hospital.
