Oh and I won't use any name that's really popular - definitely not in the top 100 and I'd prefer higher up than that. DD1's name isn't even in the top 1000 (though spelled Krista I think it's in the 900s - she is Christa). DD2's name was I think aroudn 300 or 400 when we named her Josephine, but it seems to have become much more popular since then. I meet Josie's all the time now.
I think you could get away with using it. Already we dont hear much about audrina since The Hills stopped and Dancing with the Stars is over!! I think audrina is pretty.
One of the names i LOVED was Patra and then Jemma.. But husband hated both!! ha

I definitely think of Rowen for a girl when I hear it.
I've never watched a single episode of The Hills nor do I have any desire to so for me there is no association...I'm sure I'm not the only one!
Also, with the exception of really obscure TV names from the past (like Blossom or Walker-texas ranger), do you think that people are going to forever be linked to that show? I don't
I think if you love it go for it!

I love Jack and it's the only name MH and I agree on...yes it's popular but it's not "that high" on the list *yet* lol...we've been trying to come up with a backup name for the last couple days just in case it's a boy and comes out looking nothing like a Jack...so far we've got nothing! EEK!
For a girl I love the name Abbey...unfortunately Abigail is growing so much and therefore there will be many Abby's in the class...being a Jennifer in the 80s I really want to try and avoid this for my child!
There have been a few names we like that end in -son or -en or -in but with the last name ending in -son it just sounds silly.
As a teacher many names I used to like get crossed off the list because they are now negatively associated with bullies or mean girls!

Josephine is on my short list for a girl (it's my grandmother's name and I love Joey" for a girl)...it's still pretty low down on the list thankfully
If it's not a first name it is 100% the middle name
Roman - a very good friend just named her son that.
Samuel - my cousins name.
