I am planning to use Flip diapers and the insert just lays inside the cover.  I found a deal on some other inserts, but they're pocket inserts so they're not intended to be against the baby.  Could I just sew something simple, like an old sheet, to the top of the insert so that it wouldn't bother the baby's skin, or would I have to use something else?

I think you could lay a piece of flannel between baby and the inserts???
