So every month I read people's BFPs and list of symptoms (if they are kind enough to list them) and often people say sore throat.
Since I wasn't on this board in the summer to see if people commonly posted this then, can someone tell me if this can really be an early pregnancy symptom or if it is just that we have entered the cold/flu season?
Thanks!
Re: Sore throat?
I believe this is one of those things that you really can't point to and call a pregnancy symptom until after you know you're pregnant.
A sore throat/stuffy nose could be an early pregnancy sign, because during early pregnancy your body becomes slightly immuno-compromised to prevent rejection of the developing fetus. So a) you could be more susceptible to infection, and b) your immune system could do things that result in the above symptoms because it's in over-drive.
But those symptoms could also 100% just mean you have a cold.
Hope that helps!

Do any of the people who have been here a while remember people listing sore throat as a symptom during the warmner months?
Thanks!
