Menopur symptoms

Hi ladies.  Just started my first ever treatment and we went straight to menopur.  I'm taking 225 units per night with this being night 3.  My f/u U/S is on Tuesday so I don't have any idea of how we are progressing.  Just wondering what kind of symptoms any of you may have experienced.  I'm a little surprised at the lack of symptoms and I'm wondering if maybe they come a bit later.  Trying to prepare friends and family for the hormone rage LOL.   Also, has anyone been on menopur?  What are your thoughts?

I was on Menopur (150) and Gonal F (225) this last time and didn't really have any symptoms.  I was probably a little more emotional but that may just have been b/c this whole process is emotional to begin with - certainly it wasn't anything my DH commented on (but maybe he was just being a good boy - who knows)

The only thing I noticed was that the Menopur stung a little going in and sometimes I had some bruising.

i didn't really start feeling anything from the stims until the end of taking them. my ovaries became very sensitive (i could feel them with every step, any time i peed/sneezed/coughed, i could feel them) and i became bloated. i was also an emotional basketcase!

I was on Menopur for my last IUI cycle (150iu for 7 nights) and I didn't have any s/e. By the end I was a little bloated..but that's it.

I was on Menopur for my last IUI cycle and I didn't have any side effects. Of course nothing I've ever taken has given me any side effects so I'm not much help. Bloating is really the only thing.

The menopur had a sting to it, but was much better if injected slowly.

I was using a combo of Menopur/Follistim, so I don't know how much was due to the Menopur alone...but I experienced severe bloating of my stomach (gained 5 lbs in 1 week), fatigue (went to bed at 9 pm & I'm usually a night owl), & occasionally overly emotional.

Aside from it being a little burny when injected, I didn't have any side effects either while on Menopur.

Thanks for all of the feedback.  I am actually feeling pretty good, but it's only day 3.  I half expect that to change.   Good luck to all of you others out there working towards your little  bean!
