so we have a Harper (duh)

and have always said our second.. if a girl would be Emerson after my great grandpa...

well today in random convo we both discussed that we like Hadley.

Do you like Hadley Emerson Blevins?

If so.... is it tooo cutesy with Harper?  Harper and Hadley?

I don't want to be too over the top... but kind of like the matchy... but worry it would wear on me down the road?

I love Hadley but you're right, it is a little matchy for me. Honestly, I love the way Emerson sounds with Harper.

Our second will be our last for sure.  I'm going to be 35 this year and we dont want to venture much farther than that....

I really like the name but it is a tad borderline matchy matchy, for me anyways. Could you do it Emerson Hadley? That doesn't flow as well though.

Our names will be kind of matchy.  My initial is A.  DH's is M.  We have Addison Marie.  A boy will have initials M.A.  Another girl will have initials A. M. again.

I don't think it's too matchy... but agree, that if by chance you have twins or have a 3rd, you'll need another H name.

I like Hadley! My sister and I are Leah and Lara so I'm kinda partial to the matchy thing. It's personal preference. I know a family that has five child all with name that start with C's and the oldest has three children all with C names too. That's too over the top, bit I don't think it's that way when it's only two of them.

I personally like it but then again I like having a theme or matchy names... My brother and I are Kyle and Kellie... SInce Cabe's first name is hypenated we are going to keep doing that with all of our children.

I love the name Emerson Hadley.  I think it flows nicely, and I think Harper and Emerson go really well together.  Plus, then you don't have to worry about them being too matchy

I think Emerson sounds a little masculine as first name.  But Hadley Emerson would be fine for a girl.

I also don't think they're too matchy.  I think they're cute together.

I really like Hadley.  If you use it.. it does sound like you pick names starting with 'H' on purpose.

I think Harper and Hadley is a better sibset than Harper and Emerson...

I LOVE your name choices!!! Hadley is DD2's name but for a while she was going to be Emerson! I like either combination. We went with Pearl for her middle name after DH's great grandma.

I love Emerson and Hadley!  I would like to use Emerson, but our last name starts with H so no Hadley for us.  I don't mind the matchy.

I love it! I went to school with two guys names Ian and Gian. <-- not twins either. 

So in comparison it's not matchy at all.

Hadley was one of my favs if we were having a girl. I like to hear sibling names with different syllables like Harper & Jane or Harper & Olivia etc.

I like Harper and Hadley because both are characters in Charlaine Harris novels! But I like Harper and Emerson better as first names. I like the way Emerson Hadley sounds especially with your last name. I loves!

DD#2 was almost Evelyn Mae but we both changed our minds...now we have a Lillian and a Laine.  I like how they go together but we didn't pick it to specifically have two L names.  I like both of your choices - can't go wrong with either one!
