I know there is this unspoken rule about if the first name is one syllable, then the middle name should be 2 syllables. But we are pretty set on this.

I agree...if it's important to you and you like the name that's what really matters.

i think its ok to break the rules if you like the name and it has a significance to you.

I don't like the flow because the hard k sound in the first name leads into the MN.  So it kind of sounds like one word, "draycruz."  But this would probably be more of a problem if Cruz was your last name rather than the MN, so it doesn't really bother me that much.

it doesn't have an amazing flow, and it doesn't need to. It sounds just fine to me. If you really love it, go with it
