    ....did you wait until you tried to conceive?  I had a "missed abortion" at 10 weeks on October 18th; per the sonogram, the pregnancy did not progress passed 6 weeks.  D & C was done on October 19th, my AF returned December 21st.  

Since I am 40, time is NOT on our side; my husband and I have decided to try right away.  My physician has give us his blessing and we are going for it.....color me anxious for now!

Everyone is different, but you really have to go by what your doctor says.

My OB said I was okay to TTC again after my tests came back. That was about 8 weeks.

We waited for one cycle based on dr's advice.  For me that ended up being two months.  Good luck to you in the new year!

2 months after the first and second, four after the third because I had some other issues.

I waited two cycles after the first two and 4 after the third because my doctor told me to, but when he gave me the go ahead I did.

One month after my first missed miscarriage, two months after labor with my second and this time around my dr gave me the ok to not wait at all.  Good luck!

My doctor said I didn't have to wait at all so I didn't. Just listen to what your doctor says

I had to wait 3 MONTHS not cycles. We could have tried again after the first cycle but I had a injection of methotrexate for possible ectopic. It takes 3 months for the meds to get out of your system.

My best advice is to follow what your dr says. Only they know whats best for you.

I think once your doctor gives you the greenlight to TTC, it's really up to you whether you are emotionally ready. I always went back to TTC as soon as I got AF except for my last loss. Once I had loss #3 I knew I needed to get testing done and I was so exhausted emotionally from my losses and TTC that I needed a bit of a break. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I had a D&E and we were told to wait for one normal period. DH and I don't feel like we want to wait any more than that so we're starting our first TTC cycle. If you feel ready and the doctor says okay, then I'd get to work.

We waited one cycle both times like my doctor said. I'm glad you waited until your doctor gave you the go ahead.

I had a d&c on February 25th, didn't get my period again for 8 weeks and then had to wait three cycles on top of that.  So we started trying again in June. This was what my doctor had told us to do, I would just go with whatever your doctor says.

About 7 weeks, per the doc's ok.  I m/c'd on 10/23, and AF returned 12/8 (after a few weeks of weird temps, then a couple weeks of relatively normal temps charting, including confirmed O).  I'm still a little nervous about it, but our midwife ok'd it, so we went for it right away.

The doc told us to wait 2 cycles, but we waited 3.  DH and I are both 38, so time's an issue for us too - but we just didn't feel emotionally ready yet.

I miscarried at 7.5 weeks. We were cleared to start fertility treatments again after my first non-m/c AF. Good luck to you!
