Can I get some "I don't care for Iris posts??" DH's head is starting to get big with just the two "Love Iris." posts.
I keep associating it with eyes and flowers and I've never been big on the flower for names thing. We are all over the place with names and I just want something to start calling this baby.
Sorry, I love Iris. I actually just threw it out to DH last night for our hypothetical next child. I was thinking about mn's for it earlier today and nothing sounds quite right to me. I visited your post hoping for some suggestions because I've got nothing.

Would it help to associate it with rainbows, good news, and/or divinity? Iris is originally the name of a golden-winged Greek goddess who carried messages from the gods(usually Hera, who rules/ed over marriage, family, etc) via rainbow. If you're familiar with Disney's Fantasia, she's the one who brings the rainbow out after the storm.
ETA: so after debating our own girl-names more again last night, my DH also suggested this name...I think we might be using it, too.
Re: Middle name for Iris?
Iris Noelle
Iris Lynn
Iris Faye
Iris Dawn
I like:
Iris Olivia
Iris Paige
Iris Melanie
Iris Marie
Are you my DH????
Love Iris. What about:
Iris Elizabeth
Iris Marie
Iris Lucille
Iris Kathleen
