And if so, do you do it yourself or do you get it done?
I just noticed (and maybe it's a function of the winter pale setting in) that I have some noticeable upper lip fuzz. Gross, right? Just looking for recs on products - or I might just have my stylist do it at my next haircut.
Re: Do you wax your upper lip?
I don't wax it but will admit to bleaching it. I have dark hair and sometimes the upper lip hair gets too dark for my liking. Jake always laughs when I tell him I'm bleaching my mustache
When I'm home and get a chance to schedule an appt with my old stylist, she does my eyebrows and has recently started doing my upper lip. It's mostly blond fuzz, and I only get to see her maybe 3 times a year, max, so it's not something I do a lot.
She uses a little pot of microwave wax that she buys from Sally Beauty. It's got this little paddle with it, and she microwaves it to a certain consistency, then spreads it on and lets it cool a bit, and then rips it off. Works great. She also has some sort of azulene(sp?) oil that she uses right after.
I'm sure if you go to Sally and ask they will know exactly what you are talking about. It comes in a white and yellow box, if that helps!
I have mine waxed. I have darker eyebrows and hair and so my upper lip gets some darker hair too. Usually it's only about $5 when added onto an eyebrow wax. Doesn't hurt that bad at all, kind of like ripping a band aid off.
Never tried to do it myself. I don't trust myself to do it, I'll let the professionals do what they do best!
This. I have darker hair, but when I bleach it blonde, it's not noticeable.
Darnit, now I'm curious....
