How do you do naked time?

Okay, sorry, PW today but DD is sleeping more than oh, 30 minutes and it feels like I am on a vacation

 

For those of you who do naked time-how do you do it?  Do you put a waterproof sheet down and play?  Feeling a little nervous about getting pee everywhere!!!

I usually lay down one of those crib sized waterproof pads on the floor and lay him on that.  He really likes to roll around with a beach towel, so I give him that to play with as well.  It helps keep him a little warmer since it's kinda cold in our house, and I figure it may catch some of the pee should he go.  He's only ever gone once while he was naked, and that was when he was much younger.  

I didn't see how old your lo is, so not sure if she is crawling, but I guess that could cause issues.  DS isn't mobile yet so is happy to just roll back and forth on the pad.

ETA: saw her age now, crawling obv. not an issue yet

we used to put down waterproof crib mattress pads when my LOs weren't mobile.  they loved naked time  now they get naked and run around screaming and laughing for a few minutes before bed each night.  and they do sometimes pee but it's no biggie to clean up

I usually just let him crawl around naked wherever.  We've had a few accidents, but it wasn't a big deal.  I've put knit or fleece pants on his naked heiny too, so if he does poop, it might get trapped in the pants, but he still gets air.

I usually just lay a few GMD prefolds on the bed where she is laying and let her play.  Now that she's rolling around I will probably just lay a couple towels on the bed.

For my immobile baby, I have layered two bath towels and put her down.  I watch her especially now that she rolls.  I usually do it on laundry day because she always pees on the towel.  We did have one poop on the towel and I just cold rinsed it before I washed.

I use a crib pad and supervise to make sure she doesn't roll off it.
