Florida Babies

donating toys

Hi everyone. I have started something with DD this year. She is only 2 but hopefully in the years to come she will understand what I am doing and why.  I am going to go through her toys today since X-mas is right around the corner. What I want to do is donate toys she has never really played with or she is not playing with anymore to a charity for kids. I want these toys to go to kids who have nothing.  I don't want to donate them to salvation army or goodwill not that  I have anything against them I really want the toys to go to kids and families who can't even afford to shop at those stores.  Please let me know of any local charities thanks!!

  • Most places that accept toys specificaly for Christmas only take new toys (normally unwrapped in box).  But most of the shelters (Salvation Army, Joshua House, The Spring) take used donations.
