I'm going to reupholster our dining chairs with the same fabric I used for the rocker in the nursery (it's not perfect for them, but they desperately new covers and I have it laying around so I might as well use it). The fabric looks like this, but the green is brighter in person - more of a grassy lime green:
We also need a rug for that area - not to go under the dining table, but nearby, in front of the entrance to the boys' play area.
I'd like something green since it won't show dirt easily and will go with our chairs, kitchen and the play area. I'm considering this one:
Does it match? Or is it almost-but-not-quite-so-you're-better-off-not-getting-it? We don't have gray anywhere else in the house, so would those gray flowers be problematic?
I can get $1 shipping if I order in the next 24 hours so it's a little time sensitive, but even if it's past time please give your opinion anyway - I'd rather pay more shipping than buy something that doesn't really work.
Re: someone help me - does this match?
I think they coordinate quite well without being too matchy-matchy! Go for it!
As for the gray...you could always add some in, if you like. Throw pillows or candles or other accessories.

not sure if i am too late but i agree w/this. if the flowery patterns were right up against each other then it might be "too much" but if there is enough separation between them i think you'd be ok.
from the pics i think the greens are ok but of course once you get the rug in person who knows right? that's the bad part about internet shopping! i'd say go for it though if the rug isn't too expensive.
