NBR - vacation rec's

Any recommendations for a midwest couple and newborn baby to see/stay/do on a trip to Tampa/St. Petersburg? Looking for family friendly attractions and yummy places to eat. We can get some really cheap airline tickets and going at the end of January.   Can anyone offer any help? Thanks!

    There is a Channelside entertainment area near downtown Tampa.  There are some restaurants and shops.  Its family friendly during the day, its more of an adult crowd at night.  The great thing about it is that the Florida Aquarium is there, too and that is a great place for families.  There are lots of kids running around so I hope its not too much for your little one.

    St. pete has the beaches and has a great downtown area.  I'm not that familiar but know there are a lot of museums in St. Pete, too.

    Have you posted on the WCF nest board?  That board gets more action than this one.
