Sims 3

So I bought it for my laptop, along with the Late Night expansion pack. 

 

I'm kinda bored with it so far...how can I make them do funny things?

What are the secret tricks?

If you hold down shift and control and then hit Z it pops up the cheat code thing at the top of the screen.  Then type motherlode and it gives you lots of cash    

I honestly mostly like building stuff and decorating and then I like making "me" have babies    I'm pretty boring.

My brother used to like to make a room with a door and then no furniture or anything in it, and then go make his Sim go inside.  Then he's go back into build mode and take the door away.  The he'd make his Sim pee himself and starve to death.  Or he'd build a pool and put the ladder in it, the Sim would get it, then he'd take the ladder away and he'd just swim and swim and eventually drown...I don't think Sims 3 will let you do that though, b/c my Sims have crawled out the side before.  Yeah, my brother can be kinda morbid.

Make them chat, and chat, and chat, and then Romantic will eventually pop up, then make them flirt, flirt, hug, flirt, etc.  Eventually kiss will pop up.  Then you should go do the same thing to another guy in front of that guy!  Teehehehe

It depends on their traits and how much you know that other sim you're talking to.  Afterwards, it will give you options based on their personalities (ex. if you're a hopeless romantic, there will be a button that you click when you talk to another sim for other interactions. 

I do like how it's a seamless community, but in my game it was always glitchy with sims and their personalities.  I had one sim that didn't want to get married get married when I wasn't playing them.

In Late Night it can be fun to be a vampire, and working to be a celebrity can be fun and challenging.  Getting your bartending skills up and developing your own drinks can be fun times. Read in the newspaper and you can see the hot spots for that night's parties and see where all the people are. If you are high enough level of fame you can get into the VIP parties, and making friends and impressing celebrities will help you get up in Star level as well as following phone calls from your agent.

Awww I'm so jealous. I still play Sims 2 because none of my computers are good enough to handle Sims 3 well.

I only can play it because when I bought my computer, I made sure it could play the Sims 3 well seeing that is when I got it is when it came out...I'm sad like that. 

The Sims 2 has a lot more mods and custom content that are safe for it than the Sims 3. I do miss the expansions from 2...I had all of them and I play them sometimes on DH's laptop because I miss them, lol.

In SIMS 2, If you lock children in a room without a door and don't feed them, the social worker comes to take them away, but can't, because  she has no access to the children.  That was always fun.  A friend of mine and I once got the sims to set their house on fire after we took the door away -- they would burn up and turn into ashes.  Sometimes you could get the Grim Reaper to come and have a family member beg for the life of the dead Sim.  Yea, mobid.  Then, sometimes, when a Sim would die, the family members could carry the urn around and cry randomly. 

It was also lots of fun to get the men pregnant with alien babies.  I enjoyed that. 

I don't know about Sims 3 -- I have never played that one.  I stopped at Sims 2 because it was taking major amounts of time I couldn't afford to give up!

You can make ghost babies!  That is Sim Stephanie and 4 of her 6 children LOL!

You can also make them fight.  This is Sim Amye fighting Goat.

That is awesome with the ghost baby!  Now, I can't wait to get my computer fixed and start playing again and buy the Late Night pack.  I was fearing that it would be very similar to Night Life for Sims 2 but it sounds like they pieced together the Sims 1 Superstar pack with it.  Sounds very interesting.
