Nipple leakage?

I woke up in the middle of the night, and my nipple was leaking. It was dark in the room so I couldn't see what it looked like. Anyone else experience this? I feel like it is early for this to happen (but this is my first baby, so I have no idea).

My sister in law is experiencing this as well, I think hers started at around 19 weeks... She is still leaking and really lightly lactating!  Her doctor told her to be extremely careful not to stimulate them or they will get going full force!  She said her doctor went as far as saying don't let water hit them in the shower!  Poor girls I hope you dry up!

Very normal, especially as you get into the 3rd trimester.  I'm hoping mine doesn't start for a few more months!

Mine started at 15 weeks, the first time was after a shower. Its normal.

Mine started with DS when I was around 28 weeks or so. It would only leak in the shower and during the night when I was sleeping. It hasn't happened yet with this pregnancy and I'm hoping it holds off until I get into week 30 and up (wishful thinking...)

Last time someone advised me to wear a nipple shield in a sleeping bra to bed so that it would absorb what was leaking and not mess up my pj's and sheets. I did it for about two weeks and noticed that I actually started leaking MORE! At first the shield would have a little in it and by the end of the two weeks it would be completely soaked and actually leak out onto my shirt! I have absolutely no idea why, so I stopped wearing the shield and just let them leak and it decreased again....I have no explanation as to why that happened but thought I'd mention it. 

 It's amazing how the body prepares itself for a baby!

Oops...suppose I should have stalked a little more...I just wrote a post on this up top. I'm a leakin lady too...only seems to be my right boob though...
