Pregnant after IF

TMI Question - Vag Pain?

For the past 3 days, I have had this weird throbbing in the vag area.  The throbbing isn't all the time, but it happens quite often througout the day (maybe a few times per hour?)  It also comes with the occasional quick, sharper feeling, although it isn't really painful.

No cramping, no bleeding. I am trying not to worry about it, but my IF/loss brain can't help but go directly to a cervix problem.   Of course, Dr. Google scares the crap out of me about incompentent cervix.

Have any of you experienced this type of discomfort?  Is this just growing pains?

Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL YOU LOVELY LADIES!!!!! Party!!!

  • My guess is that its some sort of stretching going on.  I don't think its an emergency but I'd call the doctor just to give yourself some piece of mind.  Maybe you can go in first thing on Monday.

  • I had all sorts of pains like this, and I would ask my Peri about them and have him check me out, and it was always stretching of the uterus.  Definitely ask your doctor if you are concerned, for peace of mind, but it's likely just growing pains.  :)

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • Thanks ladies! I think i will mention it but not worry too much. I did 'pop' this week so it's probably just growing pains. I just needed some reassurance. :)

  • I've had those type of pains, too, probably 3-4 times a week over the last couple weeks. I had an appointment on Thursday and everything was fine with LO and my cervix. I wouldn't worry too much.
