When LO turned 4 months old, I began reading to him every night before laying him down.  It is one of my favorite times of the evening.  He is so sweet and I just love him so much!

    I've tried that and he gets all squirmy and fussy cos I won't let him eat the paper.

    Kaylee just started to *enjoy* books! I am so excited :) We read a longer one last night, Curious George and the Puppies! Its a great time killer after bathtime before bed, if she isn't hungry yet.

    this, i can usually get through the majority of the book before he starts fussing, but thoughout that whole time he is trying to eat the book.

    I started reading to LO when I was pregnant- I love to read anyway. So I'd just read out loud. :) She loves books- she'll sit on my lap or we snuggle before bed and she'll listen to me read. I've noticed she really likes the Dr. Seuss books- I've heard its because of the rhyming. I hope she stays satisfied with listening and not eating. :)
