There was an interesting story on our local station the other night that i thought you ladies might like. It is about a woman who was doing missionary work in India and ended adopted her son while there, and now they are stuck in India while the US figures it out. Hope you like it...

Thanks for sharing.  How frustrating!  Not knowing the details, I shouldn't make assumptions.... BUT if it is simply that this is unprecedented then it's ridiculous that someone isn't making decisions more quickly.

I didn't watch the video (I'm at work) but was curious so I Googled and found this article:https://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2011/01/dauphin_county_native_saves_ba.html.  I can sympathize with the woman who is trying to adopt the boy but the reality is that she is trying to adopt a boy in a Hague country without following Hague rules.  If she wanted to adopt a child she should have done it the legal way.  (I also think there are many details that probably aren't correct, including that the baby was probably 3 kgs, not 3 lbs).  Hopefully the situation will work out without too much damage to the little boy.
