Oops Champagne

We have a nice bottle of champagne we have been saving for a while and dcided we would finally open it tonight. H just poured us glasses and it was really bad. It stinks we saved it for nothing, but I'm glad we opened it early enough to get more! Now he is out trying to track down a new bottle.

That happened to us too.  We saved this nice bottle that we got as a gift and we opened it and it was gross.  Good thing we have Andre to back up.  Sad that the $3 crap is better than the $50 one.

I hate champagne, particularly expensive champagne.  I do, however, LOVE the $10 Asti and I have a bottle chilling right now :P

Haha, that's probably going to be our situation. Yay for cheap champagne! Boo that I don't get my favorite kind.

When I was in Vegas for my bachelorette party, we got free Dom.  I think the cheap stuff is better!

My favorite is mid-priced. Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. I like it much better than the high end ones I have tried! But I still buy the cheapo stuff . . .

I have never tried that. I will have to look it up.

Now I have to admit what we are doing. My H is out stealing a bottle from my parents' house. They are out of town and we are watching their dogs (which have been sick) and doing all sorts of stuff for them. So we figured they could spare a bottle.

I love wine, but I don't know jack about champagne, so we stick to asti.

Only dh won't be here to drink it with me for another... 2-1/2 hours. Sigh. Hope someone's around here!

As a weekly drinking of decent, inexpensive wine, I love: Segura Viudas Cava, Korbel Brut, Christalino Brut Rose.   Just my 2 cents.

Im ready to break into my Champagne... I was wondering.. are any of you mamas nursing mamas?  I am.. and I am feeling guilty... my LO doesn't sleep through the night... should i just skip???

I'm a nursing mom and I have wine almost every night. I just have a small amount after she goes to bed. She still wakes up, but I don't drink enough to affect her.

If you're ok to drive, it's ok to BF. Don't feel bad at all. I ebf and drink within reason.
