xp and nbr: If you have stayed in a cabin in the Smokies...
do you have a favorite cabin? I have only been once *like 3 weeks ago too* and DH and I decided we want to go back in Feb. We really liked our cabin but want to see if we can find something better. If there is one you LOVE could you please LIP it or give the company and cabin names? TIA!

I rented one this year through Jackson Mountain Homes. Eagles nest maybe? I dont remember. It wasn't anything super fancy, but exactly what we wanted. 1 BR, kitchen, fireplace, LR w TV. There was a jacuzzi in the bedroom and a hot tub on the private deck with a perfect view of the mountain. I think it cost around 130 a night. (We saved a ton of money by having the kitchen and being able to have breakfasts in and make some lunches - there's a supermarket right down the road). It's in the arts and crafts section, which I loved.
My parents and aunt rented through Kimble Rentals when I was growing up. I don't know if they're still in business?
I've been back several times since I've been on my own, and we do the Patriot Getaways, too.
