AND be excited too:)

 I found a lady who runs a cloth diaper business from her home.  I went yesterday and got to see all of the goodies!  It was so fun!  I loved being able to look and look before I bought.  I was able to get some last minute things I needed.  This is going to be dangerous. She doesn't charge shipping to local customers AND will meet me closer to my home if I purchase something and don't want to drive out to her house.  She also gave me some free samples of diaper detergent (BumGenius and one other). 

No one "gets" my excitement...figured you all could relate!Big Smile

    Ooow, was it Shayla/Alyahs Alternatives LLC? 

    We went to one of her CD workshops, her and her husband were so adorable and super helpful!

    Very cool!  We only have one CD store and it's on the opposite side of town so I've never been.  Probably a good thing...I'm dangerous enough online.

    I live in a moderately small city, so there are NO cloth diaper stores anywhere.  I was excited when I stumbled upon her as I love to support local businesses!  Her daughter has 3 children and 1 on the way, so she has pretty much tried all of the cds in her store.  It is great to get first hand pros/cons and recommendations.

    Also, I make my own detergent and she is going to check on the ingredients for me to see if they are cd safe.  I am so excited to have this local resource!

    that's so excitng!  There is a store by me and one by my mom.  It's dangerous.

    We're moving to AL in feb and I don't think there is one there.  Boo.

    But, there is one in hubbys hometown and we're stopping there on the drive.  woo hoo.

    That IS super exciting! My local one is Top To Bottom Baby Boutique and she runs it out of her house as well. It's great to be able to get your hands on diapers to see what they are like before you buy. I think the first few times I went out there I stayed for at least an hour if not two, touching/trying all the different diapers :) Jess has kids herself so even Owen likes to go to "the cloth diaper store" so he can play!
