The Bump Checklist Makes Me Chuckle

At 36 weeks it says Milestone: Last Day of Work or something like that. I wish I could take a month off before my due date... but then I'd only get 2-4 weeks off with the baby actually here (assuming she comes on time). Yep, I'm crazy and I'm going to work up until the day I deliver.

You're not alone!  I'm planning to work until the last possible minute I can too.

I'm cool with going into labor at the office, I've seen other women in my work do it. I'd rather use my time with a baby then before, assuming there's no bedrest involved.

I'm holding out until I have him or am so damn comfortable I can't stand being at work anymore.

I was able to go out as early as the bump says but that's only because I didn't use any vacation time all year and had to use it before the 31st of December. I'm sorta glad I did it this way because the doc said today I'm not likely to even make the end of 38 weeks lol my contractions are at 3min apart for a few days now they're just waiting for more dilation and the contrax to be a bit stronger. Eek lol LO seems impatient!!

Wee!! How exciting I used up so much of my vaca time after my losses. I probably shouldn't have. I get more PTO a week after I go back from leave, though. Not so perfect timing...

I feel like a wussy next to you ladies.  I left my job yesterday...for several reasons. Mold in the carpet and the fact I am the SIXTH person out of a staff of 10 to leave this year.  It's kind of a toxic place on a couple of levels.

We did Facetime with my inlaws last night and they kept talking about my "retirement".  Kind of made me uncomfortable.  I plan on being a SAHM, but I'm not going to rest on my laurels for the next few months.  I have a huge to-do list.  Maybe if I power through that, I'll sit on my butt the last month. <shrug>
