What are you doing for NYE?

We're going to my cousin's (assuming my sickly self can manage) in our sweat pants to pig out on gourmet food, drink (not me, obv), watch the ball drop, and relax. It'll just be her, her husband, 2 kids (5 & 3), my H, and I. I'm looking forward to it. 

What's everyone else doing?

We're just being old farts and watching the ball drop with the dogs.  But honestly as much exhaustion as I've had the last couple of days, I may not be awake long enough to see the ball drop.

DH and I are going to get Chinese food and watch the ball drop. We usually spend it with another couple friend of ours but they're away on vacation this year. We like to stay in though since so many people are out drinking and driving. The one year we did go out I got the Noro virus, that was the end of us going out on NYE. lol

My oldest sister is having a party, so we'll be going to that. It's usually my siblings and a bunch of people I don't know. DH and I will probably leave early; I don't think we've made it to midnight in all the years we've been together.

Well, since my FI is being a "turd" (as you like to put it), I have no clue what I'm doing. I would like to do something fun, but I doubt I will even be able to stay awake to see the ball drop. How dreadfully BORING.

Unfortunately, Jan 1st is the EDD for the baby I lost last summer.  We decided to forgo the parties and have dinner just the two of us.  Japanese steakhouse, I think.  Then we will probably just watch movies.  Going to be a strange day....

We might be going to a bar. (I'll be DDing for DH and his battle buddy.) This all depends on how DD's friends feel. They've been a little sick, so if they're not 100% better, I'm not going to ask them to keep her for the night. If those plans fall through, we'll sit around, watch the ball drop, then try not to get divorced over Wii games.

Well DH and I and another couple are going out to dinner to a restaurant called Shango, serving Cajun food I hope it's good, I picked -- so much pressure!  LoL then we are going to a friends house to play board games

Ordering Chinese food and falling asleep on the couch. I told DH to wake me up before the ball drops. We could work some wii into the plan.

DH and I are going over to a friends house for hor d'oeuvres & drinks (NA for me and another ku friend) and then we all might head out to a bar with a band or something. So glad all of the bars are smoke free in my town now. DH is totally on the same page as me in MAYBE staying out til midnight but no late night for this girl.

I am feeling run down today with a lot of drainage, so who knows what will happen tomorrow. Plus it's been raining all day, then the temps are going to drop drastically and it's just going to be a freezing mess. Friends have a steep, curved driveway going down to their house, so this sounds like a disaster waiting to happen tomorrow...

DH & I are going to be our regular lame selves and stay home with take out chinese food.  I plan to be stylin' in my favorite sweatpants that have drawstrings around the ankles that inspires my cat to chase me around all night "hunting" me.  We haven't picked our movies yet, but there will be one or two.  It's unlikely that either of us will make it to midnight.  I am actually really looking forward to it.  :0)

My mom is making a big dinner after we drop my sister and her boyfriend off at the airport, and then I fully intend to be in bed by 10:00 at the latest.

There will probably be some Doodle snuggling in there before hand. But I admit that I will be lame this NYE, and DH is with me 100%.

The same thing we do every year.  Going to a friends house who lives on a lake, and trying to blow a hole in the lake (since it is frozen) with the ridiculous amount of fireworks we get.  I'm surprised all the guys still have all their fingers, to be honest.  This year we wont spend the night though, since I'll be sober I can drive home.  Not sure how I feel about driving home on NYE on icy roads with a drunk husband for company...

We were going to have a small party at our house but ive been home sick all week so we will probably just have a quiet night. My mil goes home to ny tomorrow morning after being here for over 2 weeks!

Well, my BFF and I had planned on getting wasted and blacking out...don't think that is going to happen anymore.

We both had 1 of the worst years of our lives....her FI of 6 years left her and their 2 small children for some girl he just met...and then married the chick 3 weeks later!  Ugh...and then my loss.  

We are still going to go out, but DH and I will only stay out until a little after 12.  I'm just glad I have NY day off

Low key night for us too. Dh has to work until about 8 so we're gonna go watch him do what he does, grab some sushi on the way home (veggie only for me...which isn't a big deal since I never eat seafood), then some board games with the inlaws while we wait for the ball to drop. I know, I know...look out! The excitement might be too much to handle...

My dh works both today and tomorrow so it'll be a relaxing evening at home for us. I bought a bunch of different appetizers so we'll enjoy that with some sparkling grape juice by the fire. I'm not sure if we'll stay up til midnight or not, but either way we'll have a nice time.

Were being bums. Going out to BIL house and hanging out with the family. Watching football, eating and watching the ball drop. It will be FI, me, BIL, his wife and 2 kids (9&5), MIL & FIL and our nephews 1yr old twins. We are also planning on telling MIL & FIL tonight about the pregnancy.
