I read a bunch of twin books while pg, the happiest baby on the block, babywise, HSHHT, love logic magic and so on.
But, now I need a toddler book or 40. I was to read something that tells me to ignore their tantrums, to offer choices, etc.
Any suggestions?
For MoMs, any multiples suggestions on top of regular suggestions?
Re: XP - what parenting books are you reading?
I used love and logic throughout my 11 years teaching. I follow his early childhood book: Love and Logic Magic for the Early Childhood. It's wonderful. It takes the stress off of the parent and decision making on the child. Logical consequences are a direct result of the decisions that they make.
You really can't start a majority of their methods until they are two years old but, absolutely get the book and read it!
Oh, the authors are Jim Fay and Charles Fay.
