Really Bad weather! um wow

So I just talked to hubby, he told me there is a major accident on the highway right but out house (I'm home). There is about 100 cars/trucks piled up there. I can not believe it. 2 people went to the hospital so far. I hope everyone is ok.

No travel is advised and there is ZERO visibility. I wasn't going to go anywhere and I'm for sure not going anywhere! Snowed in.

I'm in Minnesota and we've been getting rain for the last two days that's supposed to freeze here soon. I don't mind the weather when you can at least leave the house. It seems like every time I have something planned we get a storm.

Ahh! I know exactly what you're talking about. I'm just outside of Fargo, DH is trying to get home and they just closed I-94 from Fargo-Jamestown both ways. I'm hoping he makes it home ok. This winter has just been awful and I'm so over it!

I hope all those people in the pile-up are ok. How crazy!

We live a bit more north, and we live in town, so we don't have to be on the interstate, but I heard part of I29 going south is closed too. The 40 mile an hour wind is getting old, that's for sure! My dog wouldn't even go out to pee at lunch, I pushed him out the door and he wouldn't even get off the steps. It's just crazy that it's 0 degrees out, but almost -30 with windchill. Glad I don't have to work tomorrow, I'm not leaving the house!
