Help me sleep

This pregnancy insomnia is getting out of control! I was up from 2 on last night. I feel like I just toss and turn and lay there all night every night. Grrrr! I'm so frustrated! Any ideas?

Re: Help me sleep

  • I used benadryl a couple times to get some sleep.  I didn't take it regularly, but it did help me get a decent night's sleep when I was desperate.

  • Have you tried a prenatal yoga class?  I always slept best the nights after class, but practicing on my own didn't relax me quite as much.

  • I have to use Tylenol PM or I can't sleep. It's the only thing that works. Also, I use a snoogle, eye mask, and arm braces to help with the carpal tunnel.

  • Sorry I'm at a loss too.  I've tried breathing exercises, asked DH for a massage and relaxation exercises; between DH's snoring, the fan and other noises in the house that never use to bother me I am getting zero sleep and super cranky every day :(

  • My midwife told me to take Benadryl or Tylenol PM (it's the same, just with tylenol in it too). It helped.
