Pregnant after a Loss

2nd HcG #s really good!

234 two days ago (13 DPO), and 696 today (15 DPO).  YAY!!  And a good U/S yesterday to rule out ectopic.

Maybe all the cramping, backpain and one incidence of spotting will have been needlessly worrisome indicators...hopefully.

Really, really hoping and praying I get to stay with you ladies on this board!

  • Thank you so much, ladies!

I can't tell you how much all of your (collective) support has meant and continues to mean--from the PG Loss Board to TTCAL to PGAL.  I don't know what I would have done without the wonderful women who have helped me pull together strength and hope through the awful circumstances we've all experienced.

    Huge (((hugs)))

  • Great news! As far as the back pain/cramping/spotting - are you on progesterone? I spoke with one of the nurses at my dr's office today cause I've had some brown spotting (although more like brownish CM) and the nurse said that progesterone causes cramping and back pain, and that even at 6 1/2 weeks, you can still have implantation spotting and that brown blood = old blood and the doctors are never concerned with that. GL!

I'm not on progesterone (yet, anyway) because my first count was 29.4 w/o any supplements/suppositories.

The spotting I had on the day AF was supposed to be due was pinkish dots (like I had with implantation bleeding), but a medium-sized strand of blood (reddish-pink) mixed with thick CM.  This was the same appearance I had when my m/c started.  Hopefully (and seemingly--so far anyways...) this is a very different ending.
