  • Scheduled for 1/11/11 at 11am (too many 11's for me!) - my first son was huge and my scar on my uterus is bigger than normal so I am not a candidate for a VBAC.
  • Scheduled c-section also on 1.11.11. :)

I am having another one since my first child was born by c-section.

  • I am having an elective C-section which was scheduled yesterday for 1/26/11 at 11am...I am psyched to finally have a date. I had DS1 vaginally but he was 9lbs 5 oz and ended up being too big to fit through without assistance. He ended up getting stuck and had to be vacuumed out...when they finally got him out he didn't breath for a min and a half and ended up with a bad infection and was in the NICU for 4 days. I ended up with a 4th degree tear. My new doctor and I have both decided a c-section was best this time around since DS2 is measuring on the bigger side as well and she said that she can't guarantee there won't be any damage to me or DS2 won't get stuck.

  • I'm having one. Mine is scheduled for 2/21 at noon. I had a classical c/s with our first and have a greater chance of uterine rupture if I have a vaginal delivery. Also with how close my c/s will be my ob is even more worried about a rupture. The c/s will be a year and 20 days apart.

  • I'm scheduled for 1/19/11 at 7:30am if I make it that far. I'm having twin boys who are both breech. Baby A (the determiner of C Section for position issues) has never been head down the entire pregnancy.

Oh, and I have GD and borderline Pre-E....

  • I just found out on Tuesday I will be having a C/S due to having a bicornuate (heart-shaped) uterus which means I have a smaller space than normal, and since LO is still breech he has no room to turn at this point. I am just waiting to hear back from the doc on the exact date/time. They want to schedule it for exactly 39 wks which would make it 2/11/2011.
