Thanks for all the t&p's ladies.
My grandfather that collapsed at home may have had a stroke and is in acute renal failure. He's currently in the ICU. They have to wait and see what the specialist says in the morning but it's not looking good.
My grandfather who was found wandering around a truck stop a state away and is having heart issues paired with a series of mini strokes, while not in dire straits is also not looking good. He's fallen into a bit of dementia and is confused as to why he's at the hospital and keeps swearing and arguing at everyone and trying to force his way out (this is the hospital he was once Chief of Staff at so it makes it all the worse). The family has had to take up shifts staying with him just to keep him from trying to barge out every 5 mins.
Of all people, my Uncle who drove around drunk, putting everyone on the road at risk is the one who's looking like he's going to bounce back. Of course, I have a feeling he's still going to have a certain amount of brain issues (he's not all together with it apparently) and it's going to be a long road followed by an even longer road in prison. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's not going to die especially for his kids and my grandmothers sake, it's just that he's the one I have the least sympathy for especially since this isn't his first incident.
Sigh. It's been a long day.
Re: Another Grandparent update
((hugs))
What a day. T&P for you and your family.

Uck. have you made any decisions about going to visit?
I hope that things improve with them - it must be very hard to be going through that with two grandparents AND an uncle who makes bad choices.
I'll keep you and them in my thoughts. Hugs to you, mama!
