DW works in a restaurant and her shirts smell like food even after a good washing... we've been using liquid Tide F&C for our laundry but it doesn't take the odor out of her shirts. I've used original powdered Tide to prep our cloth dipes and noticed it leaves a light clean scent.
I told DW that I was going to start using the powdered Tide for all of the laundry to keep the funk out of her shirts but she is worried about it fading her brown and black shirts.
I am thinking about using the EFF Laundry Detergent recipe and want to know how it works for getting embedded odors out. Also, does it fade clothes? Can I add scent to it?
