Random lactation/lump update - TMI!

Okay, so now I am lactating or having some sort of discharge coming out of the same breast I have the lump.  I saw my PCP today for a physical before my procedure Tuesday.  They are doing blood work but of course I can't help but think it has something to do with my breast lump.  I am trying not to stress but it is another random thing about my boob. 

Anybody else have random lactation?  Did you find a cause of it?

Oh and I have had a lot of wine this evening.  I just want this all over with!

I knew someone who had random lactation about 15yrs after her last child!  I can't remember the reason, but I know her doc did an MRI (for what, I'm not sure).  All was fine though, there was never anything negative that came from it.  Best of luck to you.

For your friend, they probably did an MRI to check for cancer.  It's preferred over a mammogram for younger women that have denser breast tissue.

As for the orginal OP, I'd keep on it with the dr.  I really don't want to scare you, but I had a patient recently that was diagnosed with breast cancer after bfing and still having a lump.  By the time they actually did anything, the cancer had spread.  HTH.
