Pregnant after a Loss

Did your nausea get worse after 12 weeks?

Ever since I hit the 12 week mark, my nausea has gotten 10x worse. I was expecting it to start to taper off, like all the books and weekly updates say. I have been able to not throw up (for the most part) but I am also not functioning at all because the nausea is so bad. Our apartment is a mess, We haven't food shopped in forever, our Christmas presents are strewn all over the kitchen, the laundry is piling up and I just can't manage to get off the couch.

My Dr. put me on Folbecal  which is a prenatal that is supposed to help nausea and she advised me at my appointment last week that I should take a pepcid ac first thing in the morning to help. I'm thinking I should call and ask for zofran. What does Pgal think I should do?

  • Mine did.

I would go for the Zofran, it was the only thing that helped.

  • I would call and let them know what you are feeling.  There are a couple different things you can get if they don't want to do zofran.  Good luck, I hope you are feeling better soon.
