F/U to Pain Questions a Few Days Ago

Well, I complained about some pain I was having starting under my right boob and stretching around my ribs and to my back the other day- it is still going on. After I called my doctor Monday afternoon, they had me go in yesterday morning for an ultrasound of my gallbladder. They didn't see any stones so yesterday afternoon they made me go to L&D to be monitored. I really didn't think it was necessary but I went anyway. Baby girl is just fine and I'm still in massive amounts of pain. They have come to the conclusion that it is my gallbladder but can't test it for sure until after I have the baby because of the dye they have to inject you with. So.... I'm on a strict diet of nothing. Not really nothing but it looks like all I can really eat safely is fresh fruits and vegetables. Don't get me wrong, I love fresh fruits and vegetables BUT 3 more months of NOTHING BUT fresh fruits and vegetables is going to get sooo old. I guess if I can eventually get some sleep and this pain subsides it will be worth it. I'm also supposed to call my doctor and keep her updated on how I feel and she made send me to an internal specialist of some sort- not sure why if they can't do anything til after I have the baby though. Boo... Gallbladder!

That stinks. When I had similar pain they thought it was my gallbladder, but nothing abnormal showed up on level-2 u/s. For me, it turned out to be constipation and trapped gas. I am sorry that it is not quick fix news for you.
